In some cases large faux boulders can be used as water well pump houses. These are great because they insulate the water well pressure tanks and can easily be taken off to inspect the pump underneath.
One issue people have with well tanks is freezing during cold temperatures in the fall, winter and early spring. Having a good pump house can prevent the expensive damage freezing well components incurs.
